September 3, 1953 –  March 13, 2012  WHITESBORO – Funeral Services for Richard “Keith” Pierson, 58, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Ken Hildebrand officiating. Interment will follow at Tioga Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the funeral home.Keith passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born on Sept. 3, 1953 in Houston, Texas to David and Thelma Pierson. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Debra Park on June 11, 1993. Keith worked for Weber Aircraft in Gainesville in assembly. He had a gentle nature and was a artistic craftsman. Keith loved gardening and overall enjoyed nature. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Pierson of Whitesboro; 2 daughters, Sadie Pierson and Maggie Pierson of Whitesboro; 3 sons, Richard, Ira and Greg Pierson; a brother, Kenneth Pierson of Wyoming; 2 sisters, Rita Pierson of Dallas and Judy Hester of Rowlett; in-laws, Jerry and Joyce Park of Howe; 2 sister-in-laws, Lisa Park of Howe and Angela Cox of Seattle, Washington; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
