KC Robinson and his daughter Brynlee LaVaughn Robinson, both of Whitesboro, passed away Monday, April 5 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Whitesboro.

KC Robinson was born Jan. 20, 1988 in Glendale, Arizona.

He was an investigator for the Celina, Texas Police Department where he loved his work.

KC served as the lead instructor on the Celina P.D. Response Team.

Prior to his time in Celina, KC worked for the Gainesville, Texas Police Department and Robinson Construction Co.

He was a 2006 graduate of Whitesboro High School and married Lauren Waw on April 21, 2012.

KC enjoyed time spent with his family and was an avid Crossfit athlete.

He was a Christian, and also enjoyed water skiing, hiking, vacations with his family and beaches.

KC will be remembered for the immense love he had for his family.

Brynlee LaVaughn Robinson was born Oct. 29, 2014 in Denison, Texas.

She was a kindergarten student at Southmayd Elementary School. She loved all animals and enjoyed her karate lessons.

Brynlee was posthumously awarded an Honorary Black Belt 
She enjoyed riding bulldozers with her grandpa and wanted to be a super hero like her dad.
Brynlee loved to tease her Uncle Doc about how her grandpa was better at dozer work than he was.

She will be remembered for her funny faces and giggles.

They are survived by wife, and mother, Lauren Robinson and parents and grandparents, Dale and Cathy Robinson.

They are also survived by brother, and uncle, Jayson Chapple, his wife Jonni and their children Brock and Jacob.

They are also survived by sister, and aunt, Kennedi Robinson and her husband Paul; brother, and uncle, Doc Robinson his wife Selena and their children Fynlee and Axel; as well as grandparents, and great-grand parents, John and Lyla Milner and Memaw Thelma Shields.

They were preceded in death by KC’s grandparents Wayne and Jaunita Steele; his uncle Steven J Milner; and Brynlee’s grandparents John and Lisa Waw.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Prosper, Texas with Chaplain Isiah Moore officiating.

The family wishes to thank the Whitesboro and Celina communities for all the love they have shown in this time of tragedy.
