September 13, 1930 – July 22, 2005 WHITESBORO รข?? Funeral services for Katherine King, age 74, will be 2:30 P.M. Monday, July 25, 2005 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Joe Patterson and Rev. Harold Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Dixie Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 7-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. King passed away Friday, July 22, 2005 at Texoma Healthcare Center in Sherman.
Katherine was born September 13, 1930 in Tom Bean, Texas to Loren Wallace and Clara (Nabors) Wallace Miller. She grew up in Whitesboro and married Alvin King on October 7, 1946 in Rotan, Texas. She and her family moved from Stanley, NM to the Whitesboro area in 1991. She was a member of Bones Chapel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband; Alvin King of Whitesboro, 2 sons; William Alvin King and Ray King of Whitesboro, a sister; Dorothy King of Stanley, NM; 2 brothers; Al Miller of Whitesboro and Ralph Miller of North Carolina, an aunt, Geraldine Bainter of Grayland, WA, an uncle, Lloyd Nabors of Athens, TX, 3 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Thomas Lee Wallace, a sister, Nellie Flippo, and a grandchild, Kayla King.
Pallbearers are; Frank Jacobs, R. W. Holley and Moe Mileur, Don King, Gary Roland and Johnny Montoya.
