December 13, 1947 –  April 29, 2016  Karen Elliott, 68, of Collinsville, Texas passed away on April 29, 2016 at home with her family by her side. Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas. She was born to Edward Lampe and Donna (Rowland) Lampe on December 13, 1947, in Mattoon, Ill. She married Richard Elliott on August 8, 1982 in McKinney, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Gainesville, Texas and loved horses and horseback riding. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Collinsville; children, Bryan, Tammi, Ron, Kenny and Rick; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Carole Miller of Mattoon, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lampe and Donna (Rowland) Lampe and a brother, Kenny Lampe.
