August 9, 1951 –  July 5, 2008  WHITESBORO â?? Funeral Services for Karen Diane Hacker, 56, will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Flanagan, Pastor and Rev. Harold Watson, Pastor Emeritus officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Visitation will from 7 P.M. until 8 P.M. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the funeral home.
Karen passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Parkland Medical Center in Dallas.

She was born on August 9, 1951 in Gainesville to W.I. and Lola (Gravette) Hawkins. Karen married Louis Hacker on May 13, 1972 in Whitesboro.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Hacker of Whitesboro, her mother, Lola Hawkins of Whitesboro, three brothers, Ronald Hawkins of Sherman, Dennis Hawkins of Whitesboro and Robert â??Butchâ? Hawkins and wife Linda of Whitesboro, four nephews, Joe Lynn Hawkins, Ryan Hawkins, Daniel Hawkins and Austin Hawkins, two nieces, Jana Zielke and Toni Hawkins, and four grand nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father, W.I. Hawkins.

Pallbearers will be Joe Hawkins, David Ragsdale, Daniel Hawkins, Austin Hawkins, Dennis Hawkins and Jeff Temple.
