February 1, 1941 –  February 25, 2006  Willis, OK â?? Funeral services for Karen A. (Mayfield) Miller, age 65, will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the funeral home.
Karen passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 at James L. West Hospice in Fort Worth.

She was born on February 1, 1941 to Jack and Myrtle (Simmons) Mayfield in Pilot Point, TX.

Karen drove bus # 28 for Southlake Carroll Schools for 10 years. She drove a tractor on the family farm growing up and also worked for Texas Instruments in Lewisville. She loved her family, kids, crappie fishing and going to Las Vegas and Shreveport.

She is survived by 2 sons; Jackie Lee Conklin, Jr. of Austin and Michael B. Miller, Jr. of Orofino, ID; one daughter, Kimberly M. Miller of Round Rock; 4 Grandchildren, John Ryan Miller, Alexia Miller, Skyler Michael Miller and MacKenzie Elizabeth Miller; sister, Dorothy Ford of Pilot Point and one brother, Jackie Ray Mayfield, Jr. of Whitesboro; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, R.J. â??Smittyâ? Smithey
