Funeral services for Letrice June McClane, 85, will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Rusty Waller and Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. A visitation service will be held Wednesday, December 19, from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.She passed away on December 15, 2012 in Gunter, Texas.
June was born on June 25, 1927 in Dixie, Texas to Weldon Henry and Mabel Summit Cooper. She married Weldon McClane in Gainesville, Texas. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling and loved to read. She was a member of the Gordonville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Weldon McClane of Sadler, TX; daughters: Linda Crane and husband, David of Blue Ridge, TX; Vicki French and husband, Skip, of Bells, TX; sons: Mike McClane and wife, Anna, of Tomball, TX; Mark McClane and wife, Justina, of Sadler, TX; nine grandchildren: Colby French, Rachel Garza, Keli Wilson, Noah Crane, Jessi French, Colton Taylor, Morgan McClane, Taylor Robbins, and Mason McClane; seven great-grandchildren: Julia French, Amanda Garza, Rebecca Garza, Jude French, Lily Wilson, Jackson French and Joss French.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon and Mabel Cooper, and her sister, Jean Utley.
