August 16, 1934 – November 5, 2008 WHITESBORO รข??Graveside Services for Joyce Corley Gardner, 74, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro with Gene Deckard and Billy Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2008 from 7 to 8 P.M. at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
Joyce passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at her residence in Whitesboro.
She was born August 16, 1934 in Gainesville, Texas to Orville and Nell (Nichols) Corley. Joyce married Hollis Rudolph Gardner on September 5, 1951 in Saint Jo, Texas.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Gardner of Whitesboro, Texas; two daughters, Cherilyn Gardner of Howe, Texas and Carla Friske of Farmers Branch, Texas; a brother, Richard Corley of Saint Jo, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Gardner and her parents, Orville and Nell Nichols, a son, Rudy and a daughter, Tamara.
