December 6, 1944 –  March 1, 2005  Graveside service for Joseph Franklin “Joe” Meador will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 4, 2005 at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Grayson County with L.V. Phelps officiating. Services directed by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Mr. Meador died Monday, March 1, 2005 in Galveston.

He was born December 6, 1944 to Emmett and Vivian (Phelps) Meador in Sherman, TX.

He was of the Baptist faith and was self employed as a master carpenter.

Mr. Meador is survived by sons; Jody Shane Meador of Whitesboro, Billy Mack Meador and wife Cammie of Sadler; Father, Emmett Meador of Collinsville; Sister, Shiela Cole of Whitesboro; Step-brother, Micheal Dean Miller of Oklahoma and Step-sister, Bonnie Miller of Texas; Grandson, West Ryder Meador of Sadler and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly Meador; Mother, Vivian Miller; Sister, Paula Hart; Step-father, Buddy Miller and Step-brother, Thomas Miller.

Pallbearers are: Ricky Thomas, Larry Wainscott, Jerry Varley, Max Melton, Jackie Crisp and Merrell Dickson.

There is no scheduled visitation.
