Johnny Castillo was born on October 3, 1964, in San Benito, Texas, to Nancy Castillo. He was a mechanic for most of his life.
Survivors include his daughter Bobbie Rae Castillo of Plano, Texas, son, John Roger Castillo of San Benito, Texas. His former wife of 23 years, Tammy Tamayo, San Benito, Texas, mother Nancy (Castillo) Martinez and husband Joe of Gainesville, sisters, Mary Perez and partner Leah Raines of Pottsboro, Texas, Sylvia Wilson and husband John of Sanger, Texas and Sonia Casas of Edinburg, Texas. Brothers, Larry Castillo and wife Brigida, and Jimmy Castillo and wife Irene, both of Gainesville, Texas. Grandson, Jordyn Castillo and Granddaughter, Braelyn Martin. He was preceded in death by his special Aunt Alice Gomez.
