April 18, 1934 –  December 23, 2009  WHITESBORO- Funeral services for Johnnie Lee Pence, 75, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. There is no scheduled visitation.
Mr. Pence passed away on December 23, 2009 at his home in Whitesboro.

Johnnie was born on April 18, 1934 in Whitesboro, Texas to Gollie and Ora Belle (Willis) Pence. He married Evelena Buckaloo on May 14, 1959 in Gainesville, Texas. Johnnie worked as a stock foreman for Aviall in Dallas for 35 years. He had a great sense of humor with a steady character and was a very caring man that minded his own business. He loved his family and his cars.

He is survived by his wife, Evelena Pence of Whitesboro; 2 sons, Jerry Pence and wife Ella of Whitesboro and Larry Wayne Pence and wife Donna of Highland, Michigan; a brother, Charles Leroy Pence of Whitesboro and 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gollie and Ora Belle Pence.

Pallbearers are; Billy Buckaloo, Lommie Pence, Jerry Don Pence, Steven Pence, John Pence and Ronnie Pence.
