November 7, 1926 –  February 11, 2006  WHITESBORO â?? Funeral Services for Johnie Mae Case age 79, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with David Gray, minister of Hillcrest Church of Christ in Gainesville, officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the home of Mike and Carla Case at 1011 Hwy 377 N. on Monday evening, February 13, 2006 from 7:00 â?? 8:00 P.M.
Mrs. Case passed away Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Wilson N Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Johnie was born November 7, 1926 to Carl Otis and Annie Laurie (Gorham) Bailey in Blossom, Texas. She married Robert Dale Case on June 6, 1943 in Gainesville, Texas. She was a Whitesboro High School graduate and a housewife. After raising three children, she helped her husband who was a Church of Christ minister and a pumper in the oil field. She retired after her husbandâ??s death. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons; Ken Case and wife Kay of Gainesville, Mike Case and wife Carla of Whitesboro; a daughter, Laura Cook and husband Dennis of Whitesboro; one brother, Bob Bailey of Pottsboro; niece, Monica and husband Kris Perry of Howe; sister-in-law Dorthy (Case) Wilson of Whitesboro; niece, Donna Wilson of Whitesboro; eight Grandchildren; Marc Case, David Case, Kevin Case, Kelley Loyd, Kim Pagonis, Stacy Alexander, Alan Meek, and Amber Young; two step Grandchildren; Russell Cook and Gina and husband Tim Turner; fifteen Great-Grandchildren; three step Great-Grandchildren; and her best friend and Guardian Angel, Jim Holt of Whitesboro.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Case; her parents; and one brother, Joe Lee Bailey.

Pallbearers are: Marc Case, David Case, Kevin Case, Alan Meek, Rob Alexander, and Brian Young.
