March 17, 1933 –  June 10, 2009  Jo Ann Graves Finch, 76, passed away after a long illness on June 10, 2009. She was born to Joe and Mary Lou (Clark) Carleton in Whitesboro, on March 17, 1933. She married James Carroll Graves on Feb. 13, 1954. They were a happy and devoted couple who loved their children. They enjoyed traveling and experiencing the great outdoors until Jamesâ?? passing in March of 1985. Jo Ann enjoyed spending time out with her friends and family after her husbandâ??s death. It was on one such occasion that she met Marion Don Finch. She and don were married on Jan. 3, 1986. They lived in Gordonville, Texas where they fished, met friends at the lake, and spent time with family until Donâ??s death in March of 2007. From that time to her passing, Jo Ann resided with her daughters, Carol Hall and Donna Jones in Krum, Texas.
Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Carol Hall, Carolâ??s children, Angie, Brandon and Travis, daughter, Donna Jones and husband Blake, Donnaâ??s children, Langdon, Jeremy and Shanon, a son, Gary Graves and wife Katy, their children, Jamie, Krista, Elizabeth, Alisha, Rebekah and Isaac, eight great-grandchildren, ranging in age from one to seventeen, three sisters, Betty Green, Barbara Calvert, Margaret Estel and many friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the funeral home.
