November 19, 1937 –  March 11, 2015  Graveside Services for Jerry Wayne Cotten will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14th at the Fairview Cemetery Pavilion with Chaplain Jerry Huggins officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
Jerry Cotten, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Gainesville, Texas November 19, 1937, the son of Cliff and Elva (Pettit) Cotten. Mr. Cotten was a driver for Federal Express before retiring.

Survivors include his sons, Scott Cotten and fiance Betty Shastid of Montague, Steve Cotten and wife, Rhonda of Wimberly; daughter, Shelby McGee and husband, Brent of Double Oak; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Patricia Nadine (Jones) Cotten.
