November 8, 1937 –  December 29, 2017  Funeral Services for Callisburg resident, Jerry Mac Stailey, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3rd at Hillcrest Church of Christ with David Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Callisburg Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday evening at Meador Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Larry Wallace, Charles Sims, Dale Hamilton, David Beck, Jerry Wiginton and Joe Roberts will serve as pallbearers. Honorary bearers will be Travis Hollandsworth, Eli Hollandsworth, Carson Hollandsworth, Blake Hollandsworth, Jerry Mac Stailey, III, Ralph Stailey, Caleb Northington, Micah Northington, Chris Northington and Kaleb Conder. Jerry passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 as his residence.
Jerry was born November 8, 1937 in Cooke County, Texas to Jerry M. and Lora (Sawyer) Stailey. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Jerry was employed in the oilfields before retiring and was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. He was a perfectionist who loved gardening. He could make or fix just about anything.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Stailey of Callisburg; son, Jerry Mac Stailey, Jr. (Barbara) of Holliday, Texas; grandsons, Jerry Mac Stailey, III of Holliday and Ralph Stailey of Holliday; four great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Ray Stailey (Patricia) of Midland; sister, Geraldine Bryant (Fred) of Callisburg; step-children, Karon Northington (Novice) of Denison, Karl Hollandsworth (Pam) of Callisburg and Clint Hollandsworth (Wendy) of Denton. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Margaret Ann Stailey and infant son, Danny Ray Stailey. http://videos.lifetributes.com/859244
