April 19, 1931 –  April 10, 2015  GAINESVILLE – Funeral Services for Jean Zachary, 83, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville with Dr. Eddie Chennault officiating. Interment will follow at New Resthaven Cemetery in Gainesville. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the funeral home.Jean passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Muenster Memorial Hospital.
She was born on April 19, 1931 in Bailey, Texas to Zac and Bessie Mae (Shockley) Vaughn. Jean married Roby Zachary on Nov. 2, 1946 in Leonard, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved card games, bluegrass music and travelling with Roby in their R.V. Jean was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the Belle Moon Chapter #90 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Roby of the home; a son, Roland Zachary and wife, Cindy of Camden, Arkansas; 2 brothers, Jackie Vaughn of Granbury and Clyde Vaughn of Fort Worth; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Randy and Ricky Zachary; and 8 brothers and sisters. http://videos.lifetributes.com/586375
