December 20, 1958 –  December 11, 2014  GORDONVILLE – James Wilson Arledge, 55, died on Thursday, December 11, 2014, in Gordonville, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Private services will be planned at a later date. He was born on December 20, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Morton Henry and Mary Grace (Wilson) Arledge. He was an avid junk gypsy with a knack for organizing. He loved and enjoyed gardening. He played the piano by ear and was very musically inclined with a gift of acting. He was very outgoing and was always helping others. He was a true friend to the friendless.
He is survived by his companion, Tamara Jo Arledge; daughter, Brandi Arledge, of Whitesboro; his son, Sterlin Arledge and wife, Holly, of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Tarin Fiveash and Haven Arledge; and his sisters: Karen Goodson of McKinney, Sharon Golden of Whitesboro, and Nan Farmer of Whitesboro.
He was preceded by his parents, Morton and Mary Arledge.
