May 13, 1925 –  August 23, 2013  Gainesville – Funeral Services for Helena Robinette, 88, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wiley Sullivan and Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Helena passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

She was born on May 13, 1925 in Bulcher to Jason A. Bridges and Mossie Lee (Walker) Bridges. She married Basil Robinette and was the owner/operator of a daycare center. Helena was a member of the Woodbine Baptist Church and was a past member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Linda Evans and husband, Jimmy of Woodbine, and Cathy Proffitt and husband, Tommy of Gainesville; and a son, Randy Robinette; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Robinette; parents, Jason and Mossie Bridges; and 21 siblings.

Pallbearers are Jeff King, Lance Trammell, Jeremy Trammell, L.A. Bridges, Tony Erlandson, and Tommy Tuggle.
