May 24, 1921 –  December 2, 2017  SADLER – Funeral Services for Hattie Maxine Parsons, 96, will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rick Carney and Rev. Scott Jordan officiating. Interment will follow the services at Sadler Cemetery in Sadler, Texas. Family visitation services will be held on Monday evening, December 4, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home.She passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Sadler, Texas.
Maxine was born on May 24, 1921 in Mt. Judea, Arkansas to Noah and Rosetta (Duck) Heffley. She married James Coyet Parsons. They were married until his passing in 1984. Maxine was a florist. She enjoyed her hobbies of photography, videography, and cooking. She was a member of the Bones Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Fleeta Collins, of Whitesboro; son, Dorsey Parsons, of Sherman; daughter, Judy Tyler, of Sherman; and son, Dennis Parsons, of Sadler; Grandchildren: Mackey, Rhonda, Kenny, Tammy, Shawna, Tiffany, Amanda, Dustin, Micah, Christel, Brock, Connor, and Denny; 24 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Rheba Walker, of Gainesville; brother, Dan Heffley of Denton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Parsons; sons: James Mac Parsons and Bobby Parsons; brothers: William Gaither “G” Heffley; Noah Heffley, Jr.; Joe Wayne Heffley; Thomas Melton “Nick” Heffley; and twin sister, Kathleen Dove; sisters: Faye Roberts and La Rue Bostick.
