June 27, 1930 –  July 18, 2017  Funeral Services for Harold Newton McNairn will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22nd at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Rev. Larry Eberhart officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Harold Newton McNairn, 87, passed away Tuesday evening, July 18, 2017 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Grayson County, Texas June 27, 1930 to Alfred H. and Nama (Woods) McNairn. Harold proudly served in Korea the US Army. He married Nell Cox August 19, 1950. Mr. McNairn was an installer for Southwestern Bell for 38 years.

Survivors include his wife, Nell McNairn of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, LaWana and Eddie Garland of Sanger; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Virginia McNairn of Walnut Bend and Carl Bret and Vicki McNairn of Woodbine; grandchildren, Chad McNairn, Dusty Garland, Justin McNairn and Jarrod McNairn; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and sister, Lois Petty of Sadler. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Loyd McNairn.
