September 29, 1925 –  April 23, 2014  Funeral services for Gainesville resident, Gloria June Sexton will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25th at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel, with Rev. Bill Black officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Jackson Davis, Richard Coffey, Cody Freeman, Cody Coffey, Val Long and Gary Wilhite will serve as pallbearers. Family visitation will be 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sexton passed away April 23, 2014 at North Texas Medical Center at the age of eighty-eight. Gloria was born September 29, 1925 to Leo A. Bodovsky and Edna (Suter) Bodovsky in Gainesville, Texas. She married Douglas Alexander September 14, 1945. They has a son, Pat D. Alexander on September 9, 1948. She remarried on September 2, 1969 to John Sexton. Gloria was a bookkeeper for many years in Texas and California. She enjoyed searching for ancestors and compiled a family tree on the Bodovskys and Suters. Gloria liked computer games and word search puzzles. She was also still active in planning her class reunions. Gloria liked to read the Bible and was very religious. She was a great mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include son, Pat Alexander and wife, Delane; daughter, Yvonne Lowe; grandchildren, Amy Cantu, Elizebeth Padgent, Robin Davis, Richard Coffey and Val Long and twelve great-grandchildren.
