October 6, 1923 –  February 23, 2006  WHITESBORO – Pauline Young, age 82, went home to be with her Lord on February 23, 2006. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Services for Pauline are set for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Harold Watson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
She was born on October 6, 1923 to William and Lillie Johnson. She married Ralph Young on July 4, 1942 in Whitesboro, Texas.

Pauline was a member of the First Baptist Church and retired from the Denton State School. She loved going on vacation with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Young of Whitesboro; a son, Joe and wife Carmen Young of Calera, OK, daughter, Kay Clark and husband Jack of Whitesboro; five grandchildren, Jennifer Robertson, Derek and Jordan Young, Sara Baugh and Preston Robertson; four great-grandchildren Kyler and Kade Robertson, Chase and Hailey Clark; a sister, Margaret Young and a brother, Leroy Johnson of Whitesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jake Johnson and Dub Johnson; sisters Susie Privette, Ruby Davault and Sis Collins and grandson Todd Clark
