December 6, 1954 –  March 11, 2014  Memorial services for Gary Alan Schlesinger will be held Monday, March 17, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Denny Burris, Rev. Neil Morgan, and a Rabbi from Temple Emmanuel, Dallas officiating. Visitation will be at 9:00 am before the service. Gary Alan Schlesinger, born December 6, 1954 in Dallas, Texas, died March 11, 2014 in Sherman, Texas. Gary enjoyed a career in law enforcement and investigation followed by a second career in print advertising. He was a 1972 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Dallas and attended Tyler Junior College.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Betty Kay (Roark); his mother, Ida Joan Schlesinger; his brother, Max (Lisa); nephew Max, and step-niece Niki, as well as many treasured cousins, in-laws and close friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Herman Schlesinger; grandparents, Rosine and Chester Olff and Fanny Schlesinger.
