November 21, 1945 –  March 30, 2008  WHITESBORO- Funeral services for Frankie Ray Reedy, 62, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney and Rev. Don Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the funeral home.
Mr. Reedy passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Frankie was born on November 21, 1945 in Whitesboro, Texas to Dolphus and Lydia (Adams) Reedy. He graduated from S & S High School in 1964. Frankie married Judy â??Juliaâ? Westbrook on April 12, 1968 in Whitesboro, Texas.

Frankie loved his family and had a passion for hunting, fishing, golfing, NASCAR and other sports.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Reedy of Whitesboro; daughter, Raegena Phelps of Callisburg; granddaughter, Kristen Phelps of Callisburg; sisters, Pearl Shwadlenak of Gainesville and Peggy Williams of Sanger; brothers, Billy Reedy and wife Shelly of Pottsboro and Gary Knight and wife Charlotte of Whitesboro; father-in-law, Rev. Josh Westbrook of Denison; in-laws, Carolyn & Louie Hallford of Dension and Gina & Barry Barnett of Sunnyvale and Rev. Don and Theresa Westbrook of Denton; aunt, Ruby Reedy and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

He proceeded in death by his parents, Dolphus and Lydia Reedy; mother-in-law, Flaura Bell Westbrook, brother-in-law, F. J. Shwadlenak; grandson, Colton Sidlauskas and niece Patty Hunt.

Pallbearers are: Steven Phelps, James Hazelwood, Charlie Bridges, Billy Reedy, II., Craig Williams and David Williams.
