February 24, 1920 –  March 15, 2014  On March 15, 2014, Fannie Bell Biggers heard the voice of her God calling her from labor to eternal rest. She was 94 years of age and lived in Gainesville, Texas.
She was born February 24, 1920 in Cooper, Texas, the fourth child of Joe and Annie Weathersby. She attended school in Cooper and moved to Gainesville at the age of 15. She worked for Turner Hotel, Dr. Brown, and Miss Bonner. She married Reuben Biggers and they had five children. She attended Muller Street Church of Christ.

Fannie Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Rueben, daughter, Pamela, her parents, Joe and Annie, her brother, Joe, her sister Winnie Pearl, her twin sister, Annie Bell, and two grandsons, Stanley and Kevin. She is survived by her sons, Billy Ray, Morris, Gerald, and her daughter, Vanessa, all of Gainesville, Texas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 7 to 8 pm on Wednesday, March 19 at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home, 1204 East California Street, Gainesville, Texas, and services will be Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Church of Christ, 1712 O’Neal. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery immediately following the service.
