Evea Rae (Harmon) Craddock, 82, of Callisburg, TX was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Evea Rae was born in Grayson County on December 16, 1939, to Clyde L. and Mamie (Blankenship) Harmon. She married Ralph Craddock August 1963 in Callisburg; and they were married for 33 years and had two daughters. She later re-married Kenneth McGarity May 2000 in Callisburg; and they were married for 10 years prior to his passing in 2010. Evea Rae was primarily a domestic wife, mother, and beloved Nana for most of her life. She was a member of Custer City Baptist Church of Callisburg for 40 years, where she sang in the choir and worked with children’s ministry. Evea Rae enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Evea is survived by her daughters, Raeginia Shepherd and husband, Chad of Bedford, TX and Dalelenia Ulibarri and husband, Benjamin of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Daniel Noblitt, Patrick Noblitt, Mackenzie Cramer and husband, Jeremy Pate, Zoey Arrington and husband Hunter, and Alexis Washburn; great grandchildren, Sylas Pate, Brailey Arrington.

Evea Rae was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth McGarity, parents, Clyde L. & Mamie Harmon, and brother Pervis (Pete) L. Harmon.

Services honoring Evea Rae will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Custer City Baptist Church in Callisburg, officiated by Teri Barnett. Visitation is scheduled from 6 PM – 8 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
