January 12, 1920 – September 9, 2012 PILOT POINT รข?? Funeral services for Eva Marie Walker, 92, will be held Thursday, September 13, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church in Collinsville, Texas with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Zion Cemetery. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Family visitation will be held, Wednesday, September 12, from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.Eva passed away on September 9, 2012 in Denton, Texas.
She was born on January 12, 1920 to Lawrence Monroe and Viola (Heffley) Foster in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She married Clarence Edward Walker on September 30, 1939 in Collinsville, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son, Alba Walker and his wife, Donna, of Southlake, TX; daughter, Glenda Sponsel of Pilot Point, TX; and sister, Mary Davis of Sachse, TX; grandchildren: Philip Walker, Greg Walker, Christina Nichols, and Misty Morgeson; 5 great-grandchildren; and her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Walker; her parents, Lawrence and Viola Foster; and her two brothers and six sisters.
