November 10, 1923 –  July 12, 2011  SHERMAN – Graveside Services for Elizabeth Emeline (Embry) Bullard, 87, will be held at 10:00 A.M. , Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Tim Harkins officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. She passed away on July 12, 2011 at Beacon Hill Nursing Center in Denison.
Elizabeth was born on November 10, 1923 in Hagerman, Texas to Ben David and Jossie Emeline (McAlister) Embry. She married Afton B. Bullard on October 12, 1952 in Texarkana, Texas. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed cooking, knitting and quilting. She was a member of Crutchfield Baptist Church in Sherman.
Survivors include 3 sons, John Bullard and wife, Susan of Sherman, Danny Bullard of Sherman and Randy Bullard of Bells; 2 granddaughters, Wendy Hawzipta and husband, Eli of Mansfield and Corrie Bullard of Dallas; and a great-grandson, Isaiah Hawzipta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Jossie Embry; her husband, Afton Bullard; a sister; and 9 brothers.
