March 26, 1935 –  December 23, 2012  Funeral Services for Earnestene Bryant, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28th at First Baptist Church Valley View with Rev. Glenn Kersey, church Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. John Bryant, Wade Fleitman, Larry Blevins, Dustin Bryant, Lance Kirkpatrick, Toby Johnson, Borden Jetsenberger, William Bryant and Richard Bryant will be pallbearers. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday at the church before service time. Services are under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Earnestene was born March 26, 1935 in Marietta, Oklahoma. She died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Whitesboro Health and Rehab Center. She married Henry Douglas Bryant January 26, 1951 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mrs. Bryant was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved quilting and spending time with all of her grandchildren.

Survivors of Earnestene Bryant include sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Douglas and Barbara Bryant of Valley View, Donald Ray and Becky Bryant of Valley View and Jimmy Lynn and Susan Bryant of Forestburg; daughter and son-in-law, Lana Sue and Billy Wolf of Woodbine; brother, Carl Wayne Brewer of Elgin, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Harvey Webster Brewer; sister, Dorothy Cox and granddaughter, Amy Bryant Kirkpatrick.
