October 14, 1946 –  February 20, 2018  Gainesville – Graveside services for Earl Williams, 71, will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jason Powers officiating. No formal visitation is planned. Calling hours will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.Earl passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Mr. Williams was born on October 14, 1946 in Wills Point, Texas to Marion Art Williams and Gladys E. Kennedy Williams. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the City of Gainesville as the Water Supervisor and retired in 2011. He married Kathy Wojciechowski on December 26, 2006 in Whitesboro.
Survivors include Kathy Williams of Gainesville; a brother, Ronnie Williams and wife Vicki of Denton; Step daughter Heather Coffin and husband Jeff from Krum; step granddaughters, Payton, Chloe, Sophie Coffin of Krum; Step daughters Alicia Edington of Gordonville and Annette Davies of Van Alstyne; step grandchildren, Pamela Penn, Anette Edington, Tyler Davies and Megan Davies, and church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
