October 24, 1921 –  May 7, 2010  COLLINSVILLE – Funeral Services for Dorothy Graham Davis, 88, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Collinsville Church of Christ with Ricky Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. No formal visitation is planned.Dorothy passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Homestead of Collinsville.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1921 in Collinsville to George and Alice (Allman) Graham. She married Vernon Davis on Dec. 21, 1940 in Hilton, Oklahoma. She worked for Malouf’s and Mrs. Vivian Young in Whitesboro and for High Fashions. She also owned a dress shop in Collinsville. She was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ, and the Order of the Eastern Star in Collinsville, serving as past Worthy Matron.
Survivors include 2 sons, Lynn Davis and wife, Barbara of Collinsville and Phillip Davis and wife, Jane of Sherman; a daughter, Ann Clountz and husband, Delbert of Pottsboro; a sister, Emma Lou Stowe of Erie, Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren, Erik Davis, Ryan Davis, Andrea Janoe, June Hendrickson and Jan Clountz; 2 great-grandchildren, Megan Hendrickson and Austin Janoe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Davis; and several siblings.
