March 5, 1919 –  May 5, 2015  Former Gainesville resident, Dorothy Agnes Muncy passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Runaway Bay at the home of her daughter. She was born March 5, 1919 to James H. and Mame E. (Anderly) Weaver in Chelsea, Iowa. Dorothy served in the U.S. Navy and was a homemaker.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 8th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Petty Officer David Price officiating. Interment will follow in New Resthaven Cemetery No visitation is planned.

Survivors include daughter, Raetta Harlan and husband, James of Runaway Bay; son, James Muncy of Gainesville; daughter, Dana Leming and husband, Dr. Tony Leming of Ardmore; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brother, Carlton and Lowell Weaver.
