November 5, 1924 –  September 21, 2015  Funeral Services for Doris Charlene Shwadlenak, 90, will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, September 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas. She died Monday, September 21, 2015, at The Homestead in Sherman, Texas with her family by her side.She was born to Charlie and Bertie (Huff) Marshall on November 5, 1924, in Delaware Bend, Texas. She married Walter Shwadlenak on May 25, 1942, in Whitesboro, Texas. She was a graduate of WHS and was a retired beautician having worked many years in Whitesboro, and was a member of Gordonville Baptist Church for 53 years. She joined First Baptist Church, Whitesboro, Easter Sunday, April of 2009. She loved her church and her Lord. Her desire was to have more faith, and to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and she loved to share the gospel with others. She was the last surviving member of her family.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Elaine Haynes and husband, Phil of Keller, Texas , and Linda Terveen of Frisco, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mertie McKenzie and niece, Judy McKenzie Phelps of Whitesboro and 2 nephews, Reed and Rick Marshall.
Pallbearers will be Tad Ferguson, Hank Lovejoy, Wayne Barnes, Jim Maddock, Bobby Alexander and James Hays.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all brothers and sisters, and her husband, Walter Shwadlenak.
