January 12, 1957 –  March 15, 2008  WHITESBORO- Funeral Services for Donney Lee Duke, 51, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 at the funeral home.
Donney passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 at his home in Whitesboro.

He was born January 12, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Editha and Mozelle Mize. Donney moved to Whitesboro from Dallas in 1969. He was a Christian and a church member. Donney was a truck driver and pawn shop manager. Above all, he was the best father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend you could ever ask for.

Survivors include his father, E. O. â??Peteâ?, his mother, Mozelle Mize, two sons, Matthew Duke and wife Randalyne of Gainesville and Anthony Duke and wife Amber of Collinsville, a daughter, Lavonda Templin of Marietta, two sisters, Georgia Andrews and Violet Mae Smith both of Coleman, OK, and four grandchildren, Preston Duke, Payton Duke, Jon Duke, and Stormee Chisum.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Ella Mae Heath and Barry and Beatrice Duke.
