December 7, 1958 –  January 3, 2010  WHITESBORO- The family will hold a Memorial Service for Derata Deatra â??Deeâ? Nichols at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Southmayd Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Blain officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nichols passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

Dee was born on December 7, 1958 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Albert Edward and Sylvia Maurine (Glover) Cardwell. She married Terry Nichols on August 15, 1985 in Wichita Falls.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Nichols of Whitesboro; 2 sons, Nathan Long of Southmayd and Shannon Reaves of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 daughters, Chasity Davidson of Sadler, Chrystal Reaves of Electra and Samantha Wright of Whitesboro; 12 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Albert Cardwell, Nick Nichols and John David Nichols; 4 sisters, Alice Faye Fedler, Alma Isaacs, Sherry Womack and Robin Noey and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Sylvia Cardwell and a grandson, Joshua James Davidson.
