Delores (Dee) Rose Schofield, 87 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on February 6, 2022.  She was born on May 15, 1934, to Charles & Irene Cupp in Hobart, Oklahoma.  Dee married Milton Flowers of Gainesville in 1951.  Milton preceded her in death in 1995.  She married Tony Schofield in 1999. He preceded her in death in 2014.

Dee was a church organist for more than 50 years both in Gainesville and Florida.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church and loved worshiping and serving the Lord.  Dee had been a member of Bible Baptist Church many years until it closed, and the pastor there retired.  She also worked as an DM Budsman for the State of Texas

Dee is survived by two granddaughters, Delores Jane, and Valerie Irene of California, 3 great-grandchildren, Adam, Jimmy and April and also special friend, Geraldean Evins and her church family. Special thanks to Solaris Hospice.

Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Bill Cupp and Larry Cupp and sister, Jane Thedore.

Graveside service Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 10:00 am, visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time.  In lieu of flowers send donations to Solaris Hospice, 2250 S. FM 51, Suite 400, Decatur, TX  76234 .
