August 26, 1970 –  June 8, 2013  Funeral services for Dawn Annick “Nicky” Stuckey, 42, will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Pastor Clay Brantley and Pastor Richard Nourse officiating. Interment will follow at Gordonville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Nicky passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
She was born on August 26, 1970 to Jimmy and Ginette Lindsey in Wichita Falls, Texas. Nicky married Steve Stuckey on May 12, 1990 in Sherwood Shores, Texas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Whitesboro. Nicky loved music. She had such a deep love for cats and dogs that she actually rescued animals. For one and a half years, Nicky fought hard against cancer. She loved her family and friends very much.
Nicky is survived by her husband, Steve Stuckey of Dexter, TX; daughter, Elise Marie Stuckey of Dexter, TX; parents, Jimmy and Ginette Lindsey of Burkburnett, TX; brother, Michael Lindsey of Burkburnett, TX; mother-in-law, Pat Stuckey of Dexter, TX; aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harold and Joy Lindsey; maternal grandparents, Bob and Andrea Hines; and father-in-law, Bud Stuckey.
Pallbearers will be: Ray Lynn Stuckey, Wesley Martin, Curtis Cogburn, Jack Kirby, Bobby Connel, and Ronnie Stuckey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Whitesboro, Texas.
