David Everett Higgins, age 49, passed away on Sunday May 10, 2020 in his home in Gainesville, TX. He was born on October 18, 1970 in Millington, TN.
Dave grew up in Gainesville, TX. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1988 as a fighting Leopard. Dave made a career as a machinist and was working at POCO in Decatur, with those he considered his second family.
Dave is survived by his mother, Sue Owensby; his children, Dylan Higgins, Jack Higgins, and Payton Alleman; his granddaughter Kira Alleman; his siblings Terri Higgins, Carri Lohmar, Amber Garlinger, and Michelle Rabalais; his nieces and nephews, Tylar Lohmar, Clay and Tara Trout, Tristan Lohmar; and many extended family and friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Jack Owensby.
Dave had a big heart and those who knew him could not help but love him.
