September 7, 1953 – November 6, 2009 SADLER รข?? Graveside Services for Darla Kay Marshall, 56, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Sandusky with Dr. Rusty Waller officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at the funeral home.
Darla passed away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
She was born in Sherman on Sept. 7, 1953 to William Johnson Marshall and Dorothy Mae (Henry) Marshall. Darla worked in cosmetics at Wal Mart and was a member of the Dixie Baptist Frontier Church. She loved to paint and was a great caregiver. Darla also loved the outdoors and enjoyed using metal detectors.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Bill and Betty Marshall of Sadler; 3 brothers, Gary Marshall and wife, Lisa of Sadler, Bobby Marshall and wife, Debbie of California, and Billy Marshall of Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Marshall in 1996; her son, Clint Marshall in 2005; and a brother, Eddie Marshall in 2000.
