September 9, 1939 –  November 12, 2015  Funeral Services for Charlotte M. Henry, 76, of Sadler, will be held Monday, November 16, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Jerry Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, November 12th at her home with her family by her side. She was born to Ralph Oliver and Dorothy Mae (Archer) Mangel on September 9, 1939 in Pampa, Texas. She married Billy C. Henry on June 12, 1956 in Wheeler, Texas. She was a member of Sadler Baptist Church and was an expert at Cryptogram. She loved playing games with her family, doing her hobbies and reading her bible. She enjoyed watching the Game Show Network, especially Family Feud. Years ago, she enjoyed fishing and bowling. She made and painted ceramics and did home interior decorating as a side profession. She worked as the Director of Nursing at Medical Plaza of Sherman and the Gainesville State School and Chapel of Care Nursing Home before being forced into retirement due to illness. She earned her Bachelor of Science from East Texas State University. She is survived by her husband, Billy of Sadler; daughters, Cathie Lynn Freer and husband, George of Sherman and Terri RenĂ© Cork of Sherman; sons, Kenneth Wade Henry of Sadler and Jerry Don Henry and wife, Laura of Sadler; grandchildren, Cynthia Flores, Steven Henry, Billy Riddle, Christopher Henry, Richard Henry, James Henry, Samantha Ward, and Timothy Henry; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons, James Henry, Richard Henry, Steven Henry, Chris Henry, Richard Snoddy and Gene Landers. Honorary pallbearers will be David Lynn Trotter and Timothy Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy Mangel, brother, Vernon Mangel and grandchildren, Zane Choitz and Lucas Henry.
