July 28, 1939 –  December 2, 2009  NORTH RICHLAND HILLS â?? Funeral Services for Charles Ray Lynch, 70, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Michael McCorkle officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Charles passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth.

He was born on July 28, 1939 in Houston, Texas to Ray and Lillian (Salling) Lynch. He graduated from Whitesboro High School and obtained his Bachelorâ??s Degree from Texas Christian University. Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the band. He enjoyed a career as a band director, teaching in Gainesville, Little Elm and then retiring from Wills Point ISD. He was passionate about TCU Football.

Survivors include a sister, Carolyn Bell of Bedford; 2 nieces, Susan Wade of Colleyville, and Sharon Montelongo and husband, Thomas of North Richland Hills; a great-niece, Leslie Wade; an aunt and uncle, Wanda and Paul Briley of Sherman; and several cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Landon Bell.
