Calera – Graveside services for Carolyn Jo Perry, 70, of Calera, OK., will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Don Russell. There will be a visitation held at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro one hour prior to the service.Carolyn passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her home in Calera.

She was born on June 13, 1948 in Fort Smith, AR. to Phillip and Myrtle (Blevins) Merrywell. She was a housewife and head chauffer to her family that she loved so very much. Carolyn loved to read on her kindle and loved traveling, but her greatest joy in life was being there for her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being able to help them out by taking them wherever they needed to go. She was always on the ready for her family and will be missed dearly.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Doyle (Tommy) Perry of Calera, son, Alvin Perry, daughter, Marcellia Thurston, sister, Okeena Blevins, sister, Felice Worst, brother, Rick Merrywell, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Myrtle Merrywell, son, Doyle Perry Jr. and grand-daughter Cheynne Perry.
