Carol Ann Higgins, 79, passed away on February 12, 2019, at her home in Gainesville, Texas, with her loved ones beside her.  Arrangements are under the care of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville, Texas.  A memorial date has not been set.  She was born on March 19, 1939, in Seattle, Washington, to Vernon Bovier and Harvine Dills.  She was married to Eldridge Leroy Higgins until his death approximately 5 years ago.  She was a homemaker who loved her family.  Ms. Higgins is survived by two sons, Mark and wife Susan Higgins of Gainesville; Jim and wife Karen of Lubbock; one daughter, Kerri Simpson and husband David of Carrollton; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Scott of Flower Mound and Connie Bovier of Houston.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
