October 14, 1911 –  June 3, 2006  Funeral services for Carl Poff, 94 will be 4 p.m. Monday June 5 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro officiated by Rev. Harold Watson and Rev. Mike Flanagan. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.
Mr. Poff passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006 at his home in Whitesboro.

Mr. Poff was Born October 14, 1911 in Elk City, Oklahoma to T.E. and Anna Lou (Grissom) Poff. He Graduated from Merritt High School in Merritt, Oklahoma in 1930 and Southweat Teachers College in Weatherford Oklahoma in 1951.Mr. Poff taught school in Union Hill Oklahoma, White Rose, Oklahoma, Sivells Bend ,Texas, Gordonville,Texas and Whitesboro,Texas. He married Una Fae Diltz Sepember 4, 1937 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Poff of Palm Bay, Florida; a daughter, Karla Kay Allerton of Melbourne, Florida; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Gladys Wilson of Elk City, Oklahoma.

Mr. Poff was preceded in death by his wife, Una Fae Poff, 2 brothers, Raymond and Roy Poff and 2 sisters Cleo Robbins and Bonnie Nessar.

Pallbearers are Hank Lovejoy, Travis Maynard, David Hendricks, Rodney Howell, Harold Tamplen and Rogers Woolsey.
