August 15, 1937 – July 26, 2011 Funeral services for Bob Boling, 73, of Gainesville will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 29th at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro David Whittington, Pastor of Bearhead Baptist Church, officiating. Paul Thompson, Jr., Cullen Hinshaw, Christopher Mitchuson, Jim Thompson, Spencer Pellegrini, Ron Pellegrini and Larry Bowling will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 7:00 รข?? 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Nelson Grove Cemetery. Mr. Boling died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at his residence.
Bob was born August 15, 1937 in Lansing, West Virginia to George and Edith Bowling. He married Alma Jean Thompson December 6, 1957 in Montgomery, West Virginia. Mr. Boling was retired from the US Air Force. While in the USAF he was a Special Agent for the Defense Investigative Services. He was a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge #433 in Collinsville.
Survivors of Bob Boling include daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Ron Pellegrini of Aurora; son, Bruce Boling of Ohio; grandchildren, Lindsay, Delaney, Victoria and Spencer; brother, Larry Bowling of Gainesville; sisters, Betty Surmiak of Florida and Brenda Toth of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
