February 18, 1951 –  June 25, 2006  Sherman â?? Billy Fred â??Buffâ? Peck, an easy-going, southern gentleman who was quick to laugh and revel in the happiness of his friends and family, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2006, of cardiac arrest in Palestine, Texas. He was 55.
Born on February 18, 1951, in Whitesboro, Texas, Buff was raised by his parents, William and Edith Peck. He graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1969, and he joined the Navy four years later.
