March 24, 1929 –  December 4, 2014  WHITESBORO – Graveside services for Billy Lynn Morrow, 85, will be held Monday, December 8, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Dixie Cemetery in Dixie, Texas with Rev. Jim Cragg officiating. Visitation services will be held in Meador Funeral Home on Sunday, December 7, 2014, from 6-7 p.m.He died on Thursday, December 4, 2014, in Whitesboro, Texas.
Billy was born on March 24, 1929 to Clayton and Edythe (Alexander) Morrow in Childress County, Texas. He attended Whitesboro schools. He married Forrestine Hickey on June 6, 1953 in Gainesville, Texas. He was a member of and an elder of Sandy Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. As long as his health allowed he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to camp and his favorite place was Blue River, where he fished for trout.
He is survived by his wife, Forrestine Morrow, of Whitesboro; son, Forest Morrow, of Jefferson; son, Scott Morrow and wife, Terry, of Whitesboro; and granddaughter, Stephanie Morrow, of Burnet; as well as cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Edythe Morrow; and his brother, E. A. Morrow.
The honorary pallbearers will be the men of Sandy Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
