June 28, 1929 –  March 22, 2013  GAINESVILLE – Funeral services for Billy Gene Rainbolt, 83, will be at 2 P.M. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with L.B. Rainbolt officiating. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 P.M. Billy passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Pecan Tree Manor in Gainesville.
He was born on June 28, 1929 in Dickens, Texas to William Bryan and Carrie Ola (Browning) Rainbolt. He married Dee Meek in 1986 in Gainesville. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and had worked as a peace officer, rancher and a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife Dee Rainbolt of Gainesville; 2 sons, Bobby Rainbolt and wife, Donna Cunningham of Amarillo, L.B. Rainbolt and wife, Brenda of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Brenda Morrow of Gainesville; 5 step-children, Larry Sewell of Omaha, Nebraska, Garry Sewell of Gainesville, Monta Sewell of Gainesville, Brenda Uruttia of Gainesville and Sherry Weaver of Dallas; 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Linda Mitchell; a grandson, Billy Dean Goad; 3 brothers and a sister.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Sewell, Chad Sewell, Mark Sewell, Lance Rainbolt, T.J. Rainbolt and Heath Morrow.
