January 9, 1931 –  October 26, 2011  Funeral services for Billie McElreath, of Gainesville, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 31st at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Black, Pastor of Grand Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Michael Grissom, Gradey Carr, Justin Stradley, Mickey Carr, Dwayne Crisp and Randy Sieger will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Kyle Sieger. Visitation will be 6:00 â?? 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Billie McElreath passed away Thursday, October 26, 2011 at North Texas Medical Center at the age of 80. She was born in Dexter, Texas on January 9, 1931 to Alvin and Ella (Insel) Hughes. Billie married P.G. â??Gaylonâ? McElreath November 9, 1965 in Sherman. Mrs. McElreath was the owner and operator of Hilltop Café and was a member of VFW Post 1922 Ladies Auxiliary. She attended Grand Avenue Baptist Church.

Billie McElreath is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Mary Grissom of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Darell Bullard of Gainesville, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; daughter, Ann Riddle; brothers, Thomas Hughes, Joe Hughes and M.C. Hughes; sisters, Catherine Trammell and Mildred Vanhoosen and grandchildren Tonya Crisp and Nolan Sieger.
