March 20, 1928 –  December 14, 2012  Carrollton – Graveside funeral services for Billie Lucille (Cox) Lynch Bethel, 84 will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 17, 2012 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Collinsville, Texas, officiated by Rev. Rick Carney. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, Texas. There is no scheduled visitation time.

Billie Lucille passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 in Carrollton, Texas.

Billie was born on march 20, 1928 about one mile South of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Elementary School in Cooke County, TX, to Thomas Lewis Cox and Ollie Atrice (Roberts) Cox. She was among the last class who attended the one room school at Mr. Zion before going to High School in Collinsville. She graduated from Collinsville High School in 1944 with a grade average of 93.8.

After graduation she worked for about a year at Sears Roebuck and Company, mail order department on Lamar St. in Dallas, before marrying Francis Adrian Lynch on May 19, 1945. They had 4 children; Charles Adrian Lynch, Robert Thomas Lynch, Brenda Kay Lynch and Cynthia J Lynch. She later married Harold Bethel on Feb. 14, 1987.

Billie is survived by her children, Charles Lynch, Rev. Brenda Moore and Cindy Kelly; two brothers; Lewis A. Cox and Cass W. Reasor.; 6 grandchildren, Vera Lynch, Travis Lynch, Erin Moore, Paige Moore, B.J. Kelly and Megan Kelly-Bates and 4 great grandchildren, Jax Luzier, Lilly Vella Bates, Scarlett Sophia Moore and Molly Violet Bates, whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas L. Cox and Ollie Atrice Cox and son, Robert Thomas Lynch.
